JESUS HAS A BETTER PLAN
Martha and Mary had a
brother. His name was LAZARUS and he loved the LORD JESUS too.
The LORD JESUS also loved him. One day, however, Lazarus fell
sick and Martha and Mary were kept busy nursing him. But instead
of getting better, Lazarus just got worse and the two sisters
were very worried! There were no good hospitals in those
days,
remember. So they called one of the servants, "Go and find
JESUS and say to Him, 'Lord, the one you love is sick.'" So,
off the man hurried, to tell the Lord Jesus. Maybe you know
someone who is sick? Well, it would be good if you told JESUS
about it and PRAYED for that person, who is ill. IT IS GOOD TO
TELL JESUS ALL OUR PROBLEMS!
But whenever the
servant found the Lord Jesus and told Him about Lazarus, Jesus
did not hurry to go to make Lazarus better. No, Jesus stayed
where He was for two more days, even though He LOVED Mary and
Martha and Lazarus! Jesus did not go to help Lazarus and during
this time Lazarus died. In our next lesson we will see that GOD
had a wonderful plan to bring Lazarus back to life, but we have a
very special lesson to learn now! That is, we must 
ALWAYS
TRUST the Lord Jesus, even when things seem hard and bad, or when
things don't go our way! When our prayers are not answered the
way we want, we can TRUST the Lord Jesus to have a BETTER PLAN. JESUS
LOVES YOU AND HE IS GOOD!
"Dear Lord Jesus, help me to TRUST You always, even when things don't go my way. Amen."
