KING'S MEN DEAD!

During the night the people of Israel went through the Red Sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. The Egyptians kept on chasing them and all the King's horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea. But the LORD was watching them from a cloud of fire. He made the wheels come off their chariots as they got stuck in the wet sand. Then the Egyptians got scared. "Let's get out of here," they cried, "the LORD is fighting for Israel against Egypt."

Hey children, it is GOOD to have GOD on your side. No one is GREATER than the LORD. He wants YOU and ME to put our TRUST in Him! Moses and the people of Israel TRUSTED in the LORD and were SAVED from their cruel enemies. GOD gave them LIFE! The King and his soldiers DID NOT put their TRUST in the LORD. They trusted in their horses and chariots and in themselves, but that is no good. GOD gave them DEATH!

The LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the water may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen."

Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and as the sun was rising, the sea went back to it's place. The Egyptians tried to run but the LORD swept them back into the sea. The water covered the chariots and horsemen. The whole army died. NOT ONE SOLDIER SURVIVED!

Well kids, look what happens to those who DO NOT put their TRUST in the LORD. We know that GOD will PUNISH all those who DO NOT put their TRUST in Him and in His Son, the LORD JESUS, who DIED for their SINS on the CROSS. Don't YOU be foolish like those soldiers, whom God destroyed. TRUST in the LORD JESUS, who loves YOU today!

"..in YOU I TRUST, O my God"
Psalm 25:2

PRAYER

"Dear Lord Jesus, I don't want to be foolish like those soldiers You had to punish. Right now I put my TRUST in YOU. Thank You for loving me so much that You sent Your Son, the LORD JESUS to DIE for my SINS on the CROSS. Amen."
